Emergency Preparedness: Implementation Updates and Best Practices
March 13, 2018
The compliance date for CMS’s Emergency Preparedness Final Rule was in November 2017; however, health centers must continue this important work on an on-going basis. Under the Final Rule, each year health centers must: conduct annual risk assessments; review and update their emergency plans; review and update their policies, procedures and communication plans; and demonstrate ongoing training and testing of their emergency management programs, including conducting exercises.
This webinar will review the requirements for compliance with the Final Rule and provide health centers with the latest information related to enforcement of the rule. The presenters will update health centers on additional guidance provided by CMS and will provide implementation tips and best practices from their work with health centers across the country.
