Concept to Practice: Subrecipient Relationships

June 18, 2024

Why can the subrecipient relationship be so time-consuming?  This training covers all aspects of managing subrecipients, and is specifically designed to build step-by-step from core compliance obligations to practical implementation steps and tools. Throughout the presentation, Feldesman attorney Scott S. Sheffler will translate the compliance obligations established at 2 C.F.R. 200.231 through 200.233 into plain language, and from there into actionable management strategies, tasks, and tools.  This presentation will follow the life-cycle of a subaward relationship, to cover:

  • Background legal obligations;
  • Subrecipient selection and risk assessment;
  • Subrecipient agreement drafting and negotiation; and
  • Subrecipient oversight and compliance enforcement.

Sample tools will be provided as part of the course and will serve as a basis for practical portions of the presentation.  Questions will be welcome throughout.

The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase one week after the conclusion of the live webinar.
