(Recorded Webinar) Managing the Disruptive Patient: A Challenge to Patient and Provider Safety (January 2017)

Disruptive patient behavior, with escalation to violence, is becoming an increasing concern for many health centers. In these situations, it can often be unclear about the center’s legal authority to redefine, set limits on, or even terminate their professional relationship with the patient. In this webinar, we will address how to deal with disruptive and difficult patients in the health center, but also the policies and procedures you need to have in place and the process by which you can terminate a patient from the health center.
