This two-day 340B intensive training is conducted by the 
members of FTLF’s nationally recognized 340B/Pharmacy compliance team, Michael Glomb, Jason Reddish, and Elizabeth Karan.
Designed for covered entity staff and leadership, who run or oversee the operation and compliance of the pharmacy program. Whether your organization is new to the 340B program or has been participating in the program for years, the curriculum is designed to address challenges, including:
- Compliance with 340B program requirements;
- Common causes of and best practices for preventing diversion and duplicate discounts;
- Drug inventory management strategies;
- Policy and procedure development;
- Preparing for and participating in 340B audits;
- Tips for responding to 340B audit findings and drafting corrective action plans;
- Contract pharmacy relationships from negotiation to monitoring and oversight;
- Other third-party administrator and vendor issues;
- Scope of grant and site participation considerations; and
- Billing and sliding fee scale issues.

Jason focuses his practice on the federal 340B drug discount program and the complex legal and compliance issues facing safety net providers, pharmacies, and other 340B program stakeholders. Jason began his career representing pharmaceutical manufacturers before finding his passion helping 340B program covered entities, including disproportionate share hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS clinics, and other grantees navigate the 340B program. ELIZABETH "ISSIE" KARAN
As of January 2020, Elizabeth is no longer with the firm.
Elizabeth is a Senior Associate working in the firm’s Health Law and Federal Grants practice groups counseling a diverse array of organizations including Hemophilia Treatment Centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, primary care associations, and other Federal grantees. Elizabeth’s practice focuses mainly on assisting clients with the 340B drug pricing program, grants compliance, provider collaborations, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement issues, and implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
A Certificate of Attendance is available for the attendee immediately following the completion of the training by clicking "Launch Course" under the registration tab under the registration tab.
Conference participants can earn up to 14 CPE credits in Specialized Knowledge and Applications.
