(Recorded Webinar) CARES Act Money is Out! Now What?

This webinar is closed to new enrollments. For more health center trainings, click here.

Duration: 90 minutes
Webinar recorded on: 4/20/2020

Last week, many Health Centers received their Notice of Grant Awards for the CARES Act funding. These awards provide funding to support the detection of coronavirus (SARSCoV-2) and/or the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For example, this funding can be used to maintain or increase health center capacity and staffing levels.

After receiving your Notice of Award (NOA), within 30 days of your award release date, you must submit the following:

  1. SF-424A Budget Form
  2. Budget Narrative
  3. Budget Narrative Overview
  4. Equipment List Form (if applicable)
  5. Minor A/R Project Information (if applicable)

We want to help ensure that your use of CARES Act funds gets off on the right foot! On this webinar, we will review an actual (redacted!) NOA received by a health center under the CARES Act. Walking through the NOA line by line, we will explain the requirements of this new grant funding and identify provisions under the Uniform Guidance that are important to keep front of mind as you use these special funds.
