(Recorded Webinar) Understanding and Enhancing Your Health Center’s Bylaws: Key Elements and HRSA Requirements

Duration: 50 minutes
Recorded on: 5/26/2022

A health center’s bylaws are central to its operations, establishing the road map for the governing board. For example, bylaws set forth the governing board’s authorities, the governing board’s composition, the process for appointing and removing board members and officers, the committee structure, and standards of conduct. Bylaws are also closely scrutinized by HRSA in the context of Operational Site Visits. It is accordingly crucial that health centers are familiar with their bylaws and operate in accordance with its terms.

During this webinar the presenters will review the key elements of bylaws, with a focus on HRSA requirements and common pitfalls. The presenters will also review elements of bylaws where the health center has flexibility from a drafting perspective (e.g., committee structure).
