(Recorded Webinar) Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) and Program Design Under the New HSPPS

The Head Start Program Performance Standards require that staff that conduct eligibility determinations receive training on the Head Start eligibility requirements within 90 days of conducting those determinations on the job. The performance standards also require governing body and policy council members to receive training on the eligibility requirements within 180 days of their term. This webinar will help your program comply with the often-confusing eligibility rules, and ensure that all of your employees who determine eligibility get needed training and that governing body and policy council members have an understanding of the rules as well. We'll cover not only the basics of the Head Start eligibility process but also discuss the consequences of knowing violations of the eligibility rules.

Target Audience

Eligibility Workers, Eligibility Managers, ERSEA staff, Executive Directors, Head Start program Directors, other senior staff, governing body and policy council members but all are welcome.

Certificates of Attendance: We verify attendance upon completion of a webinar (live or recorded version) and will only issue certificates in the name of the account holder enrolled in the course. If you need to document attendance for someone other than the account holder, we provide blank Certificates of Attendance for a supervisor to sign and certify that a different individual viewed the course.

Group Attendance: Due to the online nature of webinars, we cannot verify participation by more than one person. For groups, we provide an attendance record form and blank Certificates of Attendance to record attendance at a group viewing session and document each individual's participation. We recommend that a supervisor or colleague sign the certificate to certify attendance.
