(Recorded Webinar) Procurement for Head Start Agencies

The implementation of the Uniform Guidance created additional procurements requirements for purchases made with Federal grant funds. These requirements ensure that grantees conduct competitive procurements, perform cost and price analyses, and avoid conflicts of interest.

This webinar will review the new procurement requirements at each threshold so that organizations do not have cost disallowances and provide an overview of other key procurement standards:

  • Requirements for obtaining competition
  • Rules applicable to sole source procurements
  • Updates to the micro-purchase and simplified acquisition thresholds in 2018
  • Ways to efficiently operationalize these requirements in day-to-day procurement activities
