Head Start programs are frequently confronted with allegations of wrongdoing by staff, employees and officers. For example, common accusations include suspicions of:
- Mistreatment of children, parents or guardians
- Poor quality of care and/or education of children in the program
- Unsafe conditions
- Misuse of funds
Regardless of the type of accusation, your organization must be able to promptly and effectively distinguish credible allegations from false and baseless statements.
