Vaccine Mandates for Federal Contractors: Understanding E.O. 14042
Under Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, federal contractors, subcontractors, and others participating in “contract-like” arrangements are subject to far-reaching obligations relating to vaccines and workplace safety requirements. With the expansive scope and complexity of the implementing guidance, rapid timelines, and seeming overlap with similar new OSHA-based requirements, entities that do business with the federal government have many questions.
