Scott Sheffler and Carol Barnard combine their grants accounting and legal experience to provide an in-depth discussion of the Single Audit Act annual audit process (often referred to as the “Uniform Guidance”, “A-133” or “Subpart F” audit) that all medium and large grantees must undergo.
Scott is a Partner with FTLF’s Federal Grants Practice Group, and routinely assists grantees in compliance planning and audit resolution matters. Carol, a Senior Manager with Aronson LLC, is a CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner with fifteen years of experience auditing grantees and their programs.
Together, Scott and Carol will discuss the federal purposes and authorities for such audits, grantees’ obligations, and what to expect from auditors, and ultimately federal agencies, in the audit process. CAROL BARNARD, CPA, CFE, MBA
Carol is a Senior Manager in Aronson LLC's Association Industry Services Group. With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, Carol has for the past 13 years focused exclusively on nonprofit audit and accounting issues including federal funding and related Single Audit requirements, cost principles, and compliance issues. Carol is a CPA licensed in Virginia and Maryland. She earned her MBA in Accounting in 2003 and her Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 2012. Today, she is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). [Full Bio]

A blank Certificate of Attendance will be available for organizations to issue to attendees that viewed the webinar (either live or on-demand). Due to the online nature of the training course, Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP does not certify that the attendee actually viewed the course. A supervisor at the organization should sign the certificate, and therefore, certifies that the attendee viewed the course.
Attendance record forms are available for all webinars (live and on-demand) and can be utilized to record the attendance of numerous staff members for internal purposes.

Recorded webinars are available for 60 days after the date of purchase or date of the webinar. Once your purchase is complete, you can re-access the webinar at any time by clicking “My Account” in the upper right hand corner of the page or by clicking the “My Training” tab (found at the top of any page on learning.ftlf.com) and clicking on webinar title.
An unlimited number of participants can experience the recorded webinar by broadcasting it on a projection screen and watching it together. A single login can gain access to the webinar and be issued a certificate. The record of attendance form can be accessed under the certificate link within the activity. If you selected a payment option other than Credit Card, access to the recorded webinar will be granted within 3 business days. Once you are granted access you will receive a confirmation email. FTLF reserves the right to suspend access to the webinar if payment is not received within 30 days.
REFUND/ CANCELLATION POLICY
No refunds are provided for recorded webinars. FTLF can accommodate transferring the registration to someone else within your organization or transferring the registration to another on-demand or upcoming live webinar provided that the webinar has not been viewed.
