Construction Awards: Planning and Managing Capital Improvement Grants

January 27, 2022

Access the on-demand webinar here.

With additional funding available under the CARES Act and American Rescue Plan Act, many grantees have found themselves able to carry out much needed capital improvement projects. While typical grant management requirements remain in play, as many recipients quickly realize, managing a federally funded capital improvement project entails its own special nuances and challenges.

This webinar will address the key phases of a capital improvement grant and the grant management requirements relevant to each, including: the federal procurement standards, cost principles, and federal interest considerations. In addition, we will discuss areas in which grantees are most likely to encounter compliance issues and provide strategies to address those changes.
