Washington, D.C., attorney Jason Reddish will discuss the basic requirements and compliance obligations of the federal 340B drug discount program as they apply to Ryan White HIV/AIDS program and STD program grantees and subgrantees.  The 90-minute session will discuss patient eligibility, Medicaid billing, contract pharmacy arrangements, and HRSA audit preparedness.  Jason Reddish focuses his practice almost entirely on 340B program and Ryan White program issues, and regularly advises 340B program covered entities, and MediraRx, on these and other 340B program compliance and transactional matters.

Washington, D.C. attorneys Jason Reddish and Scott Sheffler will explain how the federal grant concept of “program income” applies to 340B program and other patient revenues received by Ryan White HIV/AIDS program, STD program, and other grantees.  Jason and Scott will explain the concept of program income, how HRSA has interpreted it, your responsibilities with respect to tracking it, and the permissible ways in which the revenue can be spent.  Jason Reddish focuses his practice almost entirely on 340B program and Ryan White program issues, and regularly advises 340B program covered entities, and MediraRx, on these and other 340B program compliance and transactional matters.  Scott Sheffler focuses on federal grants accounting for a wide range of grantees, including Ryan White program recipients.

JASON REDDISH

Jason focuses his practice on the federal 340B drug discount program and the complex legal and compliance issues facing safety net providers, pharmacies, and other 340B program stakeholders. Jason began his career representing pharmaceutical manufacturers before finding his passion helping 340B program covered entities, including disproportionate share hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS clinics, and other grantees navigate the 340B program. A Partner with the firm in the Federal Grants and Health Law practice groups, Scott advises clients on matters of federal grant law, government contract law, and health care law.  Scott assists clients with the myriad requirements that apply upon acceptance of federal grant funding, including the administrative requirements and cost principles established in the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars that preceded the Uniform Guidance, and program-specific statutory and regulatory funding conditions.
