**Focus on Finance: Mangement and Acounting Systems, Budget, & Program Monitoring and Data Reporting
9/12
Community Health Centers have an array of reporting and accounting requirements that must be considered and aligned with the organizational budget process. This webinar will discuss the various HRSA 330 grant requirements in these areas and how each play a part in maintaining compliance; presenters will also share insights and best practices for financial recordkeeping and submission of required reports.
**Focus on Finance: Sliding Fee Discount & Billing and Collections
9/21
Many of the most challenging requirements in the Health Center Compliance Manual are related to maintaining a Sliding Fee Discount Schedule (SFDS) that ensures access to care. The SFDS requirements must be reflected in health center policies, while incorporating elements outlined in the billing and collection requirements- these factors can make this a ‘high risk’ area for compliance. This webinar will review the current requirements and provide guidance on how to develop compliant SFDS and Billing & Collections policies and procedures.
**Focus on Finance: Contracts and Subawards & Conflict of Interest*
9/26
With new requirements in place around procurement, contacts/subawards, and conflict of interest, Community Health Centers must have a good understanding of how these areas are addressed and implement policies and practices to ensure compliance. This webinar will review the distinguishing factors between a contact and subaward, discussing the procurement and conflict of interest requirements for contracts as well as subrecipient monitoring requirements for a subaward.
Demonstrating Compliance - A Reviewer's Persepective
10/03
This webinar will provide an overview of the compliance manual chapters, highlighting the most challenging elements experienced by health centers. Based on his experience as a health center leader and a HRSA Consultant/Reviewer on Operational Site Visits, Dan will share his insights and potential strategies for ensuring these elements are incorporated into robust policies, procedures, and systems.
^The "ABC's" of HRSA Compliance: A Legal Framework
10/10
This webinar will introduce participants to HRSA compliance in general, including discussion on how HRSA views and assesses compliance with its programmatic requirements and the legal and operational implications for the health center program overall as well as for individual health centers. Participants will explore the importance of maintaining compliance as an ongoing “program” of the health center. Discussion will also focus on the “framework” for HRSA compliance – the health center’s federal scope of project and its scope of services and continuity of care.
Credentialing and Privileging in the New Era of HRSA Compliance
10/17
This webinar will clarify the difference between credentialing and privileging and explore the key elements of this program requirement as outlined in the HRSA Compliance manual. Further discussion will include the key components of a credentialing and privileging policy and procedures and the implications of credentialing and privileging on FTCA Deeming.
^Exploring Compliance for Health Center Leadership: Governance, Management, and Clinical Staffing Requirements
10/31
This webinar will address the importance of establishing and maintaining compliant health center leadership. Participants will explore the HRSA requirements related to various aspects of leadership, from the health center’s governing Board of Directors to its management team and finally its clinical staff. ^Establishing Compliant Contracts and MOUs: Ensuring Affordable Care While Maximizing Revenue**
11/07
This webinar will address how health centers can work with the community at large in providing a continuum of care while maintaining requirements to ensure an independent and accountable organization. Participants will explore the various requirements for HRSA-compliant contracts and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) as well as general affiliation and collaboration criteria. Discussion will also examine the legal aspects of the health center’s Sliding Fee Discount Program and related billing and collections that facilitate the health center’s core mission – ensuring access to affordable care while maximizing revenue necessary to stay viable.
Maintaining a State of Rediness for your Next OSV
11/15
HRSA has announced that as of October 1st 2018, noncompliance with any one of the 90+ elements in the new manual could result in progressive action and put future funding at risk under the “One, One & Done” rule. This reinforces the message that Health Centers must ensure compliance with all required elements, further demonstrated during the Operational Site Visits (OSVs). In this webinar, Dan and David will provide guidance and recommendations for OSV preparation and fostering a collaborative and comprehensive organizational approach that promotes continuous compliance.
