(Recorded Webinar) Compliance with Health Center Operational Requirements in the Post-PHE Environment

This webinar is part one of the six-part "Preparing for the End of the Federal PHE" webinar series. To view and/or purchase the full series, click here.

Duration: 45 minutes
Recorded on: 11/29/2022

During the COVID-19 public health emergency, health centers often made swift and significant operational changes. For example, many health centers added temporary sites, modified their sliding fee discount eligibility screening process, conducted board meetings remotely, provided various services through telehealth platforms, etc. As the public health emergency (and HRSA’s position of flexibility) come to a close, it is critical that health centers reassess their compliance with HRSA’s programmatic requirements and confirm that operations align with both internal policy and HRSA’s mandates.

During this webinar, the presenters will highlight common areas of change, and explore strategies to assess compliance and avoid common pitfalls. This webinar will also highlight nuances associated with rendering services via telehealth, including the requirements of HRSA’s new draft telehealth policy, with a focus on serving new patients in and outside of the service area.
