(Recorded Webinar) Industry Update: The Impact of Overturning Roe v. Wade on Health Centers

Duration: 50 minutes
Recorded on: 6/29/2022

Join attorneys from Feldesman Tucker to discuss the impact of the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning Roe v. Wade on health centers.

In this Industry Update, we will provide an overview of the case and its immediate impact on reproductive health care across the country. Our panel will include one of the FTLF attorneys whose amicus brief in support of Jackson Women’s Health Organization was cited by the Dobbs dissent.

Our panel of attorneys will then discuss the impact of the decision on health centers—from the requirements related to providing voluntary family planning (including additional considerations for health centers that are Title X grantees or subrecipients) to malpractice concerns (include FTCA considerations) to compliance and risk management strategies that include input from the Board, senior leadership, staff and patients.
